SFC Nicholas Boyle


Sergeant First Class Nicholas J. Boyle entered the United States Army in 1997and attended Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Benning as an Infantryman. In 2012 he re-classed to Civil Affairs.

SFC Boyle’s duty positions have included dismounted Rifleman, Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW) Rifleman, and a 240B Gunner in the 1st Battalion 26th Infantry Regiment; Grenadier, SAW and 240B Machine Gunner for 3rd Battalion 187th Infantry Regiment; Senior Scout, Assistant Team Leader for 3rd Battalion 187th Infantry regiment Reconnaissance, Surveillance, and Target Acquisition (RSTA) Squadron; Drill Sergeant 2nd BN 13th Infantry Regiment, Squad Leader, Weapons Squad Leader 1st Battalion 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment; Civil Affairs Non Commissioned Officer (CANCO), S3 Training NCOIC, S3 Platoon Sergeant, and a Team Sergeant for 82nd Civil Affairs Battalion. He is currently assigned to Auburn University as a Military Science II Instructor.

He has five Operational Deployments, two in support of Operation JOINT GUARDIAN Macedonia, and Kosovo, Operation IRAQI FREEDOM Iraq, Operation JUNIPER SHIELD/MICRON Chad and Niger.

SFC Boyle’s military schooling consists of WLC, ALC, and SLC, Ranger School, Airborne School, Air Assault School, Drill sergeant School, Anti-Terrorist level II, Special Operations French language, SERE-C, and Special Operations Combatives Program (SOC-P).

Some of his awards, badges, and decorations include: Meritorious Service Medal, Army Accommodation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, He has also been awarded the Combat Infantry Badge, Ranger Tab, the Parachutist Badge, Air Assault Badge, and the Drill Sergeant Identification Badge.
